Chapter 11: Sales to the Public

Items not redistributed or destroyed may be offered to the public through either auction or fixed-price sale.

In keeping with the mission to redistribute property, all materials may be listed for five days to eligible donees prior to authorizing the sale to the public. Agencies should plan for this cycle when developing their disposal schedule.
