7.6 Report My Driving Program
The goal of the Report My Driving Program is to provide feedback from the public about State of Georgia drivers, and, where necessary, provide the tools to alter driver behavior, thereby making the roads safer for all travelers.
All state vehicles, including those assigned to agency heads, are subject to this program. Exceptions are made only for emergency, law enforcement, or investigator vehicles; or in cases where identifying the vehicle could jeopardize the employee or the agency’s mission.
Every vehicle subject to the program is assigned a unique decal, which should be affixed to the rear bumper of the vehicle. This allows members of the public to identify specific vehicles when providing feedback . Examples of how to properly display the decal are shown in Appendix B: Vehicle Markings.
Adherence to this program is a requirement of the RMS Comprehensive Loss Control Program, and entities are required to know the identity of the operator of all state vehicles at every moment. For pool vehicles, entities are required to keep a record of each vehicle's operators and the timeframes associated with their use of the vehicle.
