Program Reports

As directed by Governor Brian P. Kem through Executive Order 07.13.22.01, DOAS prepared the Small Business and Supplier Diversity Initiative Report.  Issued in October 2022, the report outlines several recommendations to make the state’s procurement process easier to access for small businesses. DOAS has identified key activities and associated timelines to execute these recommendations as described in the Implementation Plan.

In partnership with the Georgia Department of Economic Development, the University of Georgia Small Business Development Specialty Programs Division, and other key stakeholders, we are taking action to implement the recommendations, including increasing supplier education, training and engagement. More information is included in the progress reports published below.
