The first step in becoming a successful supplier with the state of Georgia is registering your company in GA@WORK Marketplace for Suppliers. Who should register in this system?

GA@WORK Marketplace for Suppliers

GA@WORK Marketplace for Suppliers makes it easy to do business with the State of Georgia. The primary benefit to registering businesses is notification of state and local government bid opportunities. By registering in GA@WORK Marketplace for Suppliers, the supplier’s contact information and the NIGP codes selected during registration will be available to state entities. If the supplier’s profile contains matching NIGP codes for a solicitation, the supplier will receive an automatic email notification. 

Georgia Procurement Manual and The Seven Stages of Procurement

The underlying purposes and policies of the Georgia Procurement Manual are to:

• Simplify and clarify the law governing procurement by the state of Georgia.
• Permit the continued development of centralized procurement policies and practices.
• Make as consistent as possible the procurement regulations among the various state entities.

Supplier orientation sessions feature information about how to register your company to be on the state's supplier list and establish your eligibility to receive bid notices.
